We are looking for a highly dynamic & creative individual with a strong technical background to lead our web development team working mostly in PHP & associated technologies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years web development experience including 3+ years of team lead experience. He or she should be well versed with the following technologies:

PHP, MySQL, Javascript, AngularJS, Laravel, Yii, CodeIgniter

The selected candidate will be leading a highly talented team of developers, designers, & QA engineers that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, analysis, through to UI/UX, developing, testing and launching.

Responsibilities

• Coordination with the clients to understand the project requirements



• Delegate the tasks to the team to ensure efficient productivity



• Follow company standards to ensure clients' satisfaction



• Track progress of team members and provide them guidelines



• Provide regular updates to the clients about the status of the projects



• Give necessary technical assistance to the team (if & when needed)



• Review team members' performance and help them in improving their weak areas



• Motivate & mentor team members

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject



• 5+ years of web development experience in PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, XML etc



• Demonstrable knowledge of Database design, SQL and version control tools



• Understanding of open source projects like Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, OpenCart, Magento etc



• Good knowledge of developing web services, REST APIs



• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, PayPal, Twitter etc)



• Strong analytical thinker, intellectually curious, attention to detail



• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
