QUALIFICATION:

• Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Electrical, Electronics, Computers or Telecom Engineering recognized by PEC Or from a foreign university recognized by the HEC.


• Experience in implementation or O&M of telecom networks covering either BSS and Transmission (MW, OF and VSAT) or RF (Drive testing & Optimization) of 2G and 3G / 4G (LTE) networks. 

EXPERIENCE:

• Min 5 years post qualification experience in similar capacity with overall 10 years of experience of Implementation or O&M of BSS and Transmission or RF (DT and optimization) of 2G and 3G / 4G (LTE) networks. 


• Good understanding of 2G, 3G and 4G (LTE) networks. 


• Technical report writing. A sample of 5000 words (approximately) technical report may be required at the time of interview.

JOB DESCRIPTION;

• To plan and execute monitoring visits to various projects with the help of USF Monitoring team and to provide input for hiring of external teams and security agencies to help in completion of various monitoring activities in a timely and professional manner.  


• To lead Monitoring team to accomplish annual targets and assigned KPIs for monitoring of RAN, RF, Broadband, Optical Fibre and other networks or platforms. 


• To ensure that visiting teams are reporting correct facts from the field.


• To investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.


• To maintain monitoring and snag removal tracker on a dashboard.


• To liaise with monitoring team for timely initiation and payment of OPEX cases.


• Technical report writing and review of reports submitted by visiting engineers. 


• Liaise with Service Provider POCs for timely monitoring visits and removal of snags reported in monitoring visits.


• To design monitoring itinerary for the team so that each completed project is visited twice a year.


• To ensure effective and continuous communication with peers and seniors in USF Implementation team so that staffing requirements are met on shared basis.


• To ensure that the project sites and nodes are monitored as per defined quality standards. 


• To assess training needs of subordinate staff and recommend them for training.


• To hold regular meetings with senior colleagues to keep them apprised of various monitoring activities and challenges.


• Extensive travelling may be required as per work requirement in any project area across the country.

The company offers competitive remuneration package. Above appointment will be on contract basis for three years. Contract is extendable by mutual consent, based on performance till the age of 60 years.
